HOW DO I BOOK ENTERTAINMENT

We'll provide to you all the information you need on an entertainer. We provide some of our entertainers bios, sound clips, videos and photos on our web site. We have many others that we can provide information for you by mail. In addition we will be happy to assist with any questions and make recommendations to help make your event a success.

In order for us to help you choose the best entertainment for you, we will need to acquire some info. from you. If you have an entertainer in mind we will need to know who you want. If not we will work with you in deciding the best entertainment for your event Next we will need to know the date of your event, the place of your event, the theme of your event, ages and preferences of your audience, the size of your audience, the space available and your budget. For large events there may be other factors that we will need to discuss.

After we have made contact with you we will have to contact the entertainer to find out if they are available on the day of your event. Next we will need a firm offer from you to book the entertainer for a specific date. Firm offers are made in writing and may be mailed or faxed. After the entertainer has accepted the offer Magic Moment Productions will issue the contract and all arrangements.

There may need to be a rider included with the contract. A rider is an addendum to the performer's contract that specifies what the entertainer expects the buyer to provide. The rider may include items such as stage size and set up, sound, lighting, and other equipment that may be needed. We will negotiate between the entertainer and the buyer in order to keep expenses down for both parties.

Our contracts include the cost of travel expenses for the entertainers unless otherwise arranged. Due to this we will have to check airfare, hotel and transportation cost before we can give you a final fee for the entertainer. A 50% deposit is typically required, with the remainder paid no later than the day of performance. If remainder is being mailed please allow time for us to receive it by the performance date. Fees not paid by the date of the performance may result in cancellation of the performance. In which case there will be no refund of the deposit.

In event of cancellation, fourteen days or less, by the buyer, venue or any other entity involved with the event, due to inclement weather, illness or any other reason, the entertainers shall be paid the full price of the contract. In case the entertainer should not be able to perform in all or in part due to accidents, illness, death or any other reason, purchaser shall be refunded all retainer fees. Cost to buyer for set up for the event will not be refunded. If for any reason the performer is unable to make your event we will work with you to try to find a replacement.
